Butter(melted)- 1/2 cup
Vanilla- 1 tsp
All-purpose flour(unsifted) – 1/2 cup
Good quality cocoa- 1/3 cup
Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
Nuts(chopped) – 1/2 cup (optional)
For creamy frosting
Butter, softened- 3 tbsp
Good quality cocoa -3 tbsP
Light corn syrup or honey- 1 tbsp
Vanilla- 1/2 tsp
Confectioners sugar- 1 cup
For making brownies
1)Blend butter, sugar, and vanilla in large
2) Add eggs and using a wooden spoon,
3) Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder,
and salt; gradually blend into egg mixture.
4)Stir in nuts.
5) Spread in greased9 inch square pan.
6)Bake at 350 degree farenheit for 20 to
25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull
away from edges of pan.
For making frosting:-
7) Cream butter, Cocoa, corn syrup and
vanilla in small mixer bowl
8) Add confectioners sugar and milk; beat
to spreading consistency.
-Makes about 1 cup frosting.
9)Spread it over the brownies as soons
they come out of the oven.
10)Cool it completely.
11)Cut into square pieces and store in air
